Frankie operates from a private Sydney studio. Pieces are accepted during timed appointments. This allows each wig or topper to be assessed and handled carefully, without rushing the process.
After booking, you'll receive preparation instructions and a confirmed collection timeframe. Typical turnaround is 48–72 hours.

External pieces are welcome. Women travelling from across greater Sydney and regional NSW are welcome to book a drop-off window by appointment.

Every new Frankie wig or topper includes a complimentary professional wig wash within the first eight weeks of purchase. This initial deep cleanse restores the hair fibre after the natural settling period and ensures your piece is performing exactly as it should.
It's also an opportunity to check the fit, ask care questions and make sure you're getting the most from your piece from the very beginning.
Important Notes
Pieces must arrive free from glue or tape residue. Severely tangled pieces may require additional work, which will always be quoted before any treatment begins. Frankie Hair Toppers is not responsible for pre-existing damage revealed during the cleansing process.

Can you refresh a wig or topper that wasn't bought from Frankie? Yes. The Frankie Refresh service is open to external pieces, provided they are 100% human hair and arrive free from glue or tape residue. If you're unsure whether your piece is suitable, reach out before booking and Karen can advise.
Is a professional wig clean the same as washing it at home? No — and this is an important distinction. Home washing removes surface residue effectively. Over time however, mineral deposits, product build-up and environmental exposure embed themselves deeper into the hair fibre. A professional clarifying cleanse uses controlled products and techniques to remove that deeper accumulation, restoring softness and movement that home washing alone cannot recover.
Do you offer wig cleaning services for women outside Sydney? Yes. While the studio is based in Sydney, clients travel from across greater Sydney, regional NSW and interstate to use the Refresh service.
